Business Ethics Assignment Case description
In the recent past, there have been a wide variety of open issues being faced by Uber that have significantly impacted its operating structure and revenue-generating capacity at the global level. The most primary ethical issue being met within the operating system of Uber are a large number of sexual assaults being committed by Uber drivers towards female customers all across the world. These sexual assaults are primarily undertaken in wild female passengers riding Alone and usuallyduring the nighttime. Therefore, a detailed evaluation of the sexual assault launched by an Uber driver towards a female passenger in Scottsdale is effectively discussed (O’Brien et al., 2018). The review into the background information of sexual assaults undertaken by Uber driver against women customers in general effectively provide that there have been significant cases being reported against a large number of Uber drivers in both developing and developed Nations. Many incidents of sexual assault about women have been reported in the Indian United States and various other countries where the customer primarily relies on Uber for daily transportation and conveyance services. The background information effectively provides the case study that an Uber driver was arrested on Monday 24 October at 3:30 a.m. in morning for sexually assaulting an overly intoxicated woman while she was unconscious and could not retain a motion member for such activities.

On 24 October, a group of friends noticed a woman completely intoxicated on their way to a party at a vacation rental, which was a mile away from the bar they had spent time previously. Considering the level of intoxication of the women, one of the friends within the group ordered an uber ride for the women from his application to ensure that the women reached home safely. Then it was effectively confirmed, and the name of the driver was Mark, and he was driving a black Toyota Corolla that shortly arrived at the pickup location. The ride was effectively confirmed by one of the fans also personated to be the victim's friend and instructed the uber driver to ensure that the women reached home safely considering the level of intoxication (Medina, 2017). Different also offered the Uber driver to pay a hefty tip to ensure that the woman reaches her home safely and conveniently.After 10 to 15 minutes of initiating the ride, the friend who had booked the Uber checked his app to know whether the Uberdriver effectively dropped the intoxicated woman at the specific location or not. To his surprise, the man noticed that the Uber was roaming about in the nearby neighborhoods and had stopped at a particular place, while the ride was marked complete. It alarmed the man, and therefore, he rushed to the last area of the cab and noticed that the driver was sexually assaulting the women inside the car. It is the overall brief of the incident on 24 October at approximately 3:30 a.m. The woman was only 23-year-old, and her intoxication level was so high that she could not effectively recognize what had happened to her during the entire process of being sexually assaulted by the driver (Curtis, 2021). The man had also confronted the assaulter and asked him to leave to which the driver responded that he was thankful to him for showing Mercy. They effectively to the woman to her home and told her about the incident to her mother. The woman was immediately taken to an examination center, where her body was examined for medical purposes. The woman could only recall that her jeans were Inside Out after the assault, and her undergarments were missing. The woman recognized this act of the driver to be very shameful and disrespectful. As a result, the Uber driver was actively arrested after two days of filing a formal complaint.

Effect of what happened
The incident of the sexual assault undertaken by the Uber driver against the woman led to the arrest of the accused within two days of filing a formal complaint. This incident also had a significant impact on the reliability and trustworthiness of Uber all across the world (Aguilera & Deng, 2019). The management of Uber also communicated an apology to the victim and provided her with appropriate support to deliver justice.
