What is the optimal range in which stepping angle of switched reluctance motor should be limited to get maximum output torque and efficiency?

Switched reluctance motors provide several inherent advantages for having its simple structure and non-winding construction in rotor side. On the other hand, it includes high tolerances, low cost and robustness. There is possible operation occurred in the high temperatures as well as intense difference in temperatures (Ding et al. 2015). Production of torque in the switched resistance motor comes from the perspective and tendency of rotor poles. It is achieved for aligning with the excited stator poles. Thus, it is significant that principle of operation is based on the differences in the area of magnetic reluctance. The components are aligned with the position of rotor during a specific stator coil.
However, the torque ripple is one of the inherent drawbacks of the switched reluctance motor. The major causes of torque includes geometric structure includes doubly salient motor along with excitation windings. It is emphasized on the poles of stator and working modes. It is necessary for saturation of magnetic in order to increase torque per mass ratio and magnetic field (Bostanci et al. 2017). It is obtained like successive feeding for different stator winding. In this situation, the communication of the particular phase current is responsible for torque triple.
Apart from this, the ease of prediction as well as designing in the timing of electronic device along with the use of stepper motors has expanded over the years. As the stepper is considered as one of the types of DC motor, these are used in the devices as well as components. Thus, in order to get optimal range in the stepping angle in the switched reluctance motor, it is required to focus on the process of getting the maximum output torque as well as efficiency (Shahgholian et al. 2015). The high adequacy in the power factors can be helpful to achieve efficiencies in the stepping angels.
The division of full rotation of stepper provide multiple steps and better control of motor. It can be started as well as stepped the precise locations using the design of stepper. The force is generally created with the simplification of the design procedure of the motor. Kabir and Husain (2016) stated that the use of efficient design of the motor can ensure that output of the process is gained from the motor. To make the efficient design motor, I will design a model that can be helpful to minimize consumption of power through monitoring. In this way, I can able to increase efficiency and directly affect the major factor, which is cost efficient as well as useable.
The rotor position is matched during turning-off the position and switches that consists of the phases turned off. Therefore, the source of power will stop energy of magnetic field. There is also some magnetic field energy needed (Wu et al. 2018). It requires to convert to the mechanical work and loss. The drive circuit and torque control the scheme directly affected on the topologies emerged with the reduced number of power switch. In addition, faster excitation, demagnetization is processed in this aspect. Furthermore, high-efficiency as well as the factors of high power factor by continuing the process will assist to receive expected outcome.
Stepping angle of switched reluctance motor is a very broad field that requires a narrow scope to conduct this research with a particular output. In this research, I will measure optimal range to get the maximum output torque and efficiency in the stepping angel of switched reluctance motor. By using the use of 2D Adaptive Finite Element Method, I will design the model of motor. I will regularly communicate with my supervisor and show the progress of the work. It will help in maintaining the time for submission to me.
For my research work, I will create a successful gran=wining application including two elements: one is the designing on innovative research problem along with the best possible plan for tracking. The another element is the appropriate planning of budget. The main aim of this research is to identify the best optimal range that stepping angle the switched reluctance motor that limited the maximum output and efficiency.
The torque SRM is produced towards the direction. It is resultant to be reduced. On the other hand, the magnitude torque is converter or the drive circuit as well as torque control scheme. Various techniques of efficiency enhances is optimizing the applied waveform of voltage. With the increase of speed, the back-EMF has increased (Kabir and Husain 2016). There is also advancement of turn-on angle that is essential in order to reach to the desired result lever before rotor as well as stator poles are starting to overlap. In the falling power region, it is important to increase speed. I will make a block diagram using MatLab toolbox of SRM and design a particular process based on which I can summarized the idea and draw a suitable conclusion. It will help me in showing the effect of small change in the number of turns on the average torque and the torque ripple.
The torque included in SRM is created for the process of bearing the reluctance to the restricted mode. The degree of torque is developed in every stage related to the square of the stage current. Converter or drive circuit controls it. Along with thus, torque control scheme is the part of it. An extensive variety of topologies is ascended with minimized number of powerful switch and makes faster excitation (Shahgholian et al. 2015). The high adequacy, power factor as well as high power through continued look at the process. The drive circuit as well as torque control have an impact to the process of execution as well as typical for SRM. There is constant tradeoff occurred between the expanding parts of effective conditions as well as losing some new topology (Gao et al. 2017). Selecting quantitative/qualitative approach
1. Selection of quantitative approach
There are two types of data used in the research such as quantitative data and qualitative data. In the present research, quantitative data are required. Numerical analysis values for lifetime as well as discharge the characteristics of steeping angle of switched reluctance motors. Measuring the instruments will be used for collection of data. The numerical values for lifetime as well as discharge are included as criteria for research.
2. Description of the factors
My research engages the use of measuring instruments for collection of quantitative data. Hence, it will not need to work with people directly as the subjects for collection of qualitative data. In order to analyse the optimal range in which stepping angle of switched reluctance motor should be limited to get maximum output torque and efficiency, the researcher will collect numerical data using the measuring instruments. As my research will engage the process of using measuring instruments for collection of data, it will not required to work with people directly.
