Pedersen, Gwozdz & Hvass (2018) commented that ethical behaviour of any company is a foundation behind trusting any stakeholders. Business ethics ensures that every business develops trust between the customers and market participants for better productivity of the company. As opined by Schnackenberg & Tomlinson (2016), unethical practices like fraud and embezzlement affect the stakeholder’s relationship and trust thereby impacting business performance.

Business ethics is essential in order to ensure high employee performance. A better engagement of the stakeholders like consumers and suppliers would favour better performance.
